These terms are an agreement between you and IE Job Reacher, Uly Dala Avenue 69, Astana, Republic of Kazakhstan, registration number KZ85UUZ00566352 (“we”, “us”), the operator of Job Reacher. By creating an account you agree to them.
1. What the service does
Job Reacher is software for job seekers. It collects publicly available remote job postings, estimates whether they are reachable from your location and likely legitimate, scores them against the experience you provide, and prepares application materials. You decide whether and where to send them. We do not submit applications, contact employers, or send email or messages on your behalf. We are not an employment agency or a recruiter, we do not sell job postings, and employers do not pay us.
2. Who can use it
You must be at least 18 and able to enter a binding agreement. One person per account.
3. Your responsibilities
- Provide accurate information about your experience. The service is designed not to invent qualifications; do not add ones you do not have.
- Review every document before you send it. You are responsible for what you submit to employers.
- Follow the terms of the job sites, application systems and messaging services you use.
- Only upload data, such as a connections file, that you have the right to use.
- Keep your login credentials private and tell us if you suspect misuse.
4. AI-generated material
Parts of the service use AI. Its output can be incomplete or wrong even after our checks. Eligibility, legitimacy and match assessments are estimates; always read the original posting and check every document before using it.
5. No guarantee of employment
We work to improve your chances of hearing back, but we cannot guarantee replies, interviews or job offers.
6. Plans and payment
Paid plans renew automatically at the end of each period until cancelled. Our order process is conducted by our online reseller Paddle.com, which is the merchant of record for all our orders; Paddle provides customer service for payment enquiries and handles returns, and its buyer terms apply to your purchase. Refunds follow our refund policy. Prices may change for future periods; we will tell you at least 14 days before a change applies to you.
7. Our intellectual property
The service — including its software, source code, design, texts, scoring and eligibility methods, data compilations, and the Job Reacher name and logo — belongs to us or our licensors and is protected by copyright, trademark, database and other laws. We give you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to use the service for your own job search while your account is active. Nothing else is licensed.
8. What you may not do
- Copy, reproduce, republish, sell or build a competing product from the service, its design, texts, job data, scores or outputs, other than using your own application materials.
- Scrape, crawl or extract data from the service by automated means, or access it through any interface other than the one we provide.
- Reverse engineer, decompile or try to obtain the source code, unless the law expressly allows it despite this restriction.
- Frame or mirror the service, remove our notices, or use our name or logo without written permission.
- Probe, scan or test its security, bypass rate limits or access controls, or access other users’ data.
- Use the service to send spam, misrepresent yourself or anyone else, or break any law.
Breaking this section ends your licence immediately. We may suspend the account, keep evidence, and take legal action to protect our rights, including claims for damages.
9. Your content
You own the experience, documents and other content you add. You give us the permission needed to host and process it to provide the service to you, as described in our privacy policy. Feedback you send us may be used to improve the service without obligation.
10. Third-party sites
Job postings and application forms belong to employers and job boards. We are not responsible for their content, availability or decisions.
11. Liability
The service is provided “as is”. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, lost opportunities or lost income, and our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before it arose. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have as a consumer that cannot be limited by contract.
12. Termination
You can delete your account at any time. We may suspend or close accounts that break these terms, and will tell you why unless the law or security prevents it.
13. Law and disputes
These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Kazakhstan. Before going to court, please write to us so we can try to resolve the issue within 30 days. Mandatory consumer-protection rules of the country where you live still apply.
14. Changes
We will tell you in the app at least 14 days before material changes to these terms take effect. If you keep using the service after that, the new terms apply.
Attribution
This service uses the ESCO classification of the European Commission. The job titles we group together are an adapted selection from ESCO, extended with titles seen in real postings; the adaptation is ours and does not come from the European Commission.
